Absence of play will make us more vulunerable to various of emotional problems. Brain is in search of the hand and hand is in the search of the brain. Play is the medium. Social play, body play, rough and tumble play all play an important role in child development.
I have been reading and learning about the philosophy of Maria Montessori since I have had my first boy in my tummy. I read books and articles, join the montessori mom online forum, work part-time in a montessori school, and I cannot love her more. I would like to keep a note of what I have learned and how I have applied the philosophy in raising my two boys here in this blog.
